We must teach what to protect.

The biggest problem with current schools is that they do not teach what to protect.

The most important thing that living beings learn first after being born is to protect themselves.

How to protect oneself from external enemies.
For any living being, protecting oneself from external enemies is as important as eating.
In the natural world, one cannot survive without learning how to protect oneself.

Therefore, all living beings learn to protect themselves before learning to eat. In other words, the foundation of learning begins with self-protection.

If one is not taught what to protect, they will not understand why they are living. If they cannot realize what they must protect in life, they will not be able to understand the purpose or meaning of life. If they do not know what to protect, they cannot grasp the significance of living.

Education that does not teach self-protection is fundamentally flawed. Protecting oneself means knowing one’s roots and understanding what to protect as an extension of oneself. What must be protected is the foundation of one’s existence.

Oneself. Loved ones. Family. Country.

These are the same as what one must protect for oneself.

If we do not teach what must be protected as a human being, one cannot live as a human being. It is the responsibility of guardians and adults to ensure that individuals can live in society as human beings.

Morality. Promises. Oaths. Laws. Reason. Rules. Companions. Regulations. These are things that must be protected as a human being.

If one does not know what to protect to be oneself, they cannot walk their own life path. Knowing what to protect is knowing oneself.

What one must protect is pride. Beliefs. Love. Friendship. Faith. Aspirations.

Humans cannot live alone. First, one must learn that humans cannot live alone. Next, one must learn with whom to live. After learning with whom to live, one must learn how to build trust with that person.

Humans form groups. Humans cannot live alone. Since they cannot live alone, they must form groups to live. The smallest group is a couple, and when children are born, it develops into a family. Therefore, one learns to protect the family.

When groups form, rules and regulations arise. When rules and regulations are established, the group develops into an organization. Therefore, one learns the meaning of rules and regulations. The problem is the legitimacy of the rules and regulations.

There is a misunderstanding in this regard. In the past, many organizations were autocratic and dictatorial. They were led by a single leader and were unilateral and authoritarian.

Over time, democratic systems emerged. Democratic systems are bidirectional. The structure of democratic systems is different from that of autocratic systems.

In autocratic systems, the protectors and the protected are separated. In contrast, in democratic systems, the protectors and the protected are united.

Therefore, in a nation-state, we must teach what to protect. Citizens must learn what to protect.

This gave rise to rights and duties. Rights and duties are one. Rights are duties, and duties are rights. The foundation of rights and duties is “protection.”

On top of that, we must learn about organizations. Schools must teach the operation of organizations.

For example, how to establish rules and laws. The structure of organizations. How to discuss. How to protect organizations. Rights and duties. Roles. The significance and purpose of organizations. Why does the country exist? For whom does the country exist?

We must teach. We must learn.

This is the great principle of a nation-state.

And to ensure that individuals do not face difficulties after entering society, we must teach common sense as human beings.

To know what to protect is to learn what to protect. Learning to protect means knowing what to protect. Knowing what to protect means discovering what you need.

When you know what you need, and when you know that you are needed, you understand the meaning of your life.

You protect because you need it. You protect because you know you are needed.

A baby cannot live without the help of a guardian. It cannot live alone. Parents are made to realize that their children need them. This is true not only for humans but also for birds and ants.

Therefore, birds protect their chicks with their lives until they leave the nest. Those who do not know how to protect become inhuman. In zoos, there are parents who protect and raise their children. This is because they cannot feel that they are alive. Livestock raised under protection do not even know how to protect themselves.

People learn that they need their parents during the process of being protected and raised. Parents learn that their children need them by raising them. This is the essence of education.

People learn that they cannot live alone.

When people grow old, they need the care of others again. At that time, what do people learn? At that time, people learn what they need.

We must learn.

How to interact with others. How to greet. Etiquette. How to speak. How to interact with parents. How to discipline children. Grooming. How to make friends. How to find a partner. What must be protected. How to make promises. Trusting each other. Loving each other. Compassion. Helping each other. Roles. How to take responsibility. How to learn. How to teach. How to live. We must learn about life. We must teach.

We must teach what must be protected. We must learn.
